Brand Voice Guidance is a free-text box for instructions about how your business should sound. It works alongside Store Profile, Tone, Creativity, and other Store AI Settings — it adds to them rather than replacing them.
Good uses
Use it for guidance that applies across your store, for example:
- We are a family-run business. Keep the writing friendly and down-to-earth.
- Our customers are experienced professionals, so avoid explaining basic industry terminology.
- We sell premium products but do not want the writing to sound pretentious.
What to avoid
Do not normally use Brand Voice Guidance for instructions about a single individual product. Prefer store-wide style guidance.
