What StoreStreamer changes
Which product and collection fields StoreStreamer can update — and what it leaves alone.
When you run an optimisation, StoreStreamer can update:
- Product descriptions
- Collection descriptions
- SEO titles and meta descriptions
- Image ALT text
- Internal links inside product descriptions (links from a product to related products and collections)
What it leaves alone
StoreStreamer does not change:
- product titles
- prices
- inventory or stock levels
- product images themselves (only ALT text)
- parts of your store you have not included in the run
You control which field types are updated in Optimisation Settings.
SEO in plain terms
StoreStreamer prioritises helping customers understand products. Clear, useful product information usually supports discoverability — SEO should be a consequence of good retail communication, not keyword stuffing.
